Some people will need immediate attention and will need strong medication if the conditions of their bones is more critical and bones are very thin and weak and they are at much risk of ending up breaking their bones just by normal day activities.  Antiresorptive medicines function is primarily the reduction of bone resorption (reverse of absorption) and on the other hand anabolic agents will help Osteoporosis patient build bone and they would not work by inhibit resorption.
